The 20th of February 2011 saw the return of short track speed skating in Western Australia after a 12 year hiatus.
Based at the Xtreme Ice Arena in Mirrabooka, the WAISSA and the Western Flames Ice Racing Club recommenced training on Sunday mornings at 8:45am.
The cost of training is $15 for each skater.
The WAISSA has a limited number speed skates available for use during the speed skating training sessions. These are available on a first come, first served basis.
Coaching is provided free of charge and the first session is free to try!

My name is Harriet Inwood. I come from a family of skaters and family olympic skaters. I am looking to come down and get back on the ice . I am from new zealand im 20 and have represented nz in australia many times with gold and silver and bronze medals trophys and certificates. I would really love to hear from you.
