Short Track Hits Perth

The 20th of February 2011 saw the return of short track speed skating in Western Australia after a 12 year hiatus.

Based at the Xtreme Ice Arena in Mirrabooka, the WAISSA and the Western Flames Ice Racing Club recommenced training on Sunday mornings at 8:45am.

The cost of training is $15 for each skater.

The WAISSA has a limited number speed skates available for use during the speed skating training sessions. These are available on a first come, first served basis.

Coaching is provided free of charge and the first session is free to try!
